Copper recycling solutions

reciclaje de cobre

Processing and recovery of copper waste

Copper recycling is the process by which this metal is recovered from different waste streams and transformed into high-quality raw material. This avoids the extraction of new copper from mines, reducing environmental impact and the consumption of natural resources.

Copper waste can come from multiple sources: electrical cables, electronic components, radiators, motors, pipes, or industrial waste. Once processed, recycled copper retains its original properties, allowing it to be reused in the manufacture of new cables, electrical products, metal parts, or alloys.

In addition, millions of tonnes of metal waste are generated worldwide every year, a significant proportion of which is copper. Recycling this material is therefore essential to reduce the need for intensive mining, decrease pollution and generate significant economic value from waste that was previously considered rubbish.

At Silmisa Maquinaria, we design and manufacture copper recycling solutions tailored to the needs of each customer and the different types of metal waste.

Our recycling plants are characterized by their high processing capacity, energy efficiency and low operating costs, guaranteeing a final product with the purity required for reuse in industry.

Our recycling systems use crushing technologies, mechanical separation, granulators, copper-aluminum separators and density tables capable of processing cables or other elements with impurities (such as plastics, aluminum or steel). In this way, we prioritize sustainability and achieve maximum material recovery.
